Our apartment in Nice is really great. It has 3 double beds, a kitchen, a T.V and stereo, a nice washroom and a washer. All this for about 50€ a night. Nice is a relatively small city of 350 000 people and it shows. Most of the city is oriented towards pedestrians. There is a very nice streetcar line but we have not used it yet. It is nice to actually have home-cooked meals. Eating at restaurants got a bit tiresome. Thanks Aunt Genny and Uncle Don for bringing the Macaroni and Cheese! We are really glad we took our break here in France where it is so much more like home than Egypt. Plus we can speak the language.
