It has been a very, very long time since my last post... Please bear with me!

This entry is an new way of writing for me.  It may save me alot of time..

From the last time I wrote we have met up with the James family and went touring around Western Egypt and the Sinai.  From Cairo both families took a bus to Baharia Oasis in the Western Dessert.  Our hotel was basic but comfortable.  Not much going on in that Oasis.  From there we took a tour out into the Black and the White Dessert.  The Black Dessert was, true to its name, black from volcanic sand from dormant volcanoes.  The White Dessert was where we spent our night out in the dessert.  The White Dessert is home to many amazing formations of chalk that many tour groups stop to gawk at.  Many of the pictures posted recently would have been taken in the White Dessert.  That night at our camp a dessert fox payed us several visits.  The visits were not really for us but for the garbage pile that was close by.  The next morning we all piled into our deteriorating 4x4 and trundled off to Mut in the Dakhla Oasisi.  Our hotel room in Mut cost little more than 10$ a room.  Our main objective in Mut was to find transportation to Luxor so we could fly to Sharm El Sheik.  The ferry was out of service.  Once in Sharm we took a van to Dahab where we hunkered down in the New Sphinx Hotel/Resort.  For the last week or so nothing has happened other than a short bout of food poisoning from an undercooked hamburger.  The restaurants name is SHAMS…  The snorkeling of the beach is amazing here and is very highly recommended.  By me, of course.  Tomorrow my Aunt and Uncle will be here!  The whole family is looking forward to it.
